Canadian Ceramicist Ingeborg Koot lives and works in Vancouver, but has enjoyed both South African and European schooling in the art of Pottery and Ceramics.
Ingeborg is both comfortable in slipware and in stoneware.
Her work is highly Illustrative and simultaneously elegantly rustic .
She annually exhibits during the summer months at various local wineries in BC.
Her love of nature, mother earth and its abundance reflects back in her work.
Her work is functional: pots, cups, plates and vessels. But is also has a talent for ceramic paintings murals and sculpture. The joy of her making is felt when holding her work.

Ingeborg is an avid Mountain bike and extreme hiker.
She not only has the honest hands of potter but spends her time gardening
(Preferably on a Sunday) And enjoys relocating plants her k-9 companions have dug out for her.
Art by Ingeborg is available once a year or when available in the ARTboutique, due to the long-term nature of the ceramic process and production.
